Badminton (Medics)

Medics Badminton - one of the friendliest, most exciting, up and coming clubs at ICSM! We welcome people of all subjects (not just medics!) and have a wide mix of ages and abilities. It's the best of both worlds, whether you are playing in one of our four highly competitive teams (2 men's , 1 women's and 1 mixed), with coached training sessions, or just want some casual exercise with your friends. We are always looking for new players each year, so make sure you come to try-outs at the start of term! For our social players, our friendly session boasts an incredible atmosphere and you won't believe how much you'll improve throughout the year. We host tournaments, for our social players, which are always a success and great fun for everyone involved. Badminton aside, the club also hosts many social events including lively sports nights, booze bowling, ice-skating, mini-tours, trips to the All England Championships and dinners throughout the year. We also organise a trip to the Netherlands at New Year's for the International Student Badminton Tournament, which is not to be missed!
