The UCL Behavioural Innovations Society was founded as a team in early 2020 to work on real-world projects and to apply our skills to systematically bring about positive and sustainable behaviour change in the wider UCL community. Now, our society offers seminars, workshops and applied projects to individuals interested in behavioural science. Our seminars investigate the intersection of behavioural science with a variety of fields, from fintech to public health and beyond. Alternatively, in workshops and through applied projects we apply behavioural science to concrete problems like reducing emissions in the UK through a reduction in domestic air travel or supporting doctors to socially distance in their break-rooms. The society is open to everyone (in particular those that would like to learn about applications of behavioural science!).
