navigation.about
Queen Mary University of London Boat Club (QMULBC) is proud to be a mixed club at the center of the London rowing scene, boating from the UL boathouse in Chiswick. QMULBC welcomes everybody of all abilities, with the large majority of our new members each year having never rowed before university. Whether it's the thrill of racing at BUCS, the prestige of going to Henley Royal Regatta, rowing recreationally, or being involved in a thriving social environment, QMULBC is perfect for individuals of all skills and fitness levels to fulfill the ultimate university experience.Whilst rowing is a competitive sport and those that want to train hard, we also know that university is a time for getting out and meeting new people. Every year QMULBC welcomes a great number of members who enjoy the social side of university sport. We host annual traditional social events deemed legendary by all on campus. Especially the monthly 'session' at Hail Mary, (club sports night) in Drapers, where Boat Club is among the loudest club there. How to get involved: Join the Facebook group or get in contact with the club committee members below Attend the taster session - this session is completely free and is the perfect opportunity to see what we're all about! Purchase your subs - at the QMSU Hub (Mile End), BLSA reception (Whitechapel), or online on the right-hand side of this page. Enjoy! You will be able to shape your Boat Club experience to suit you. Whether it is exercise as a casual rower, leaning to steer the boat as a cox, just trying something new, or you've heard rumors about our legendary socials...
