Bristol University Women in Leadership

Welcome to Bristol Women in Leadership Society It is free and open to everyone! Bristol Women in Leadership is a student-run society at the University of Bristol. Our members have the opportunity to be part of a network of approachable, open-minded and ambitious students. We provide a welcoming space to come together to engage in workshops, seminars, speaker series and socials. We offer the chance to connect, equip and empower yourself to develop the skills necessary for life and work after university. We facilitate the space to meet those who identify as women/non-binary already in positions of leadership in a variety of fields from STEM to humanities while creating an up-and-coming network of Bristol students. BUWIL provides extensive opportunities to learn, bond and get to know people who can help you with your future. WHAT WE DO - Networking: career-specific panel events, social and informal networking, connecting you to mentoring programmes with sector specialists - Workshop: LinkedIn, CV and resume sessions, public speaking, internship opportunities - Volunteering: working on projects in Bristol with other members of the society, fundraising - Socials: coffee mornings, game evenings, Karoake, pizza and movie nights - Women in Conversation collaboration events We have also previously been a Bristol SU Gold accredited society meaning we have worked to generate a positive environment within the university community.
