Cheerleading

Imperial’s cheerleading society consists of:-a mixed male and female Level 2 team, who compete in national competitions twice a year-a mixed development Level 1 team, who showcases their abilities at events all around LondonAll abilities are welcome, with most people in the society never having done cheer before, so don’t worry about not having enough experience!Training consists of one compulsory coached training session a week, and an optional strength and conditioning session run by the club, for those who want to practice some stunts and improve their fitness and flexibility.We have frequent socials, from boozy club nights to movie sleepovers, to fancy annual dinners, so we have something for everyone! We also have joint socials with the American Football society, including a tour to Croatia.Additionally, we have a LinkedIn group, where you can network with our alumni! Our alumni are in consulting, finance, engineering labs and many more!We know that cheerleading is subject to some stereotypes; such as “cliquey” and “not a real sport”.
