Whether you’re a beginner, club player or pro, we would love for you to join us at the UCL Chess Society. All players are welcome, regardless of experience. We are committed to accommodating complete beginners and providing an atmosphere conducive to learning the basics and developing an appreciation for the beauty chess offers! For those looking to show off their skills, you can take part in our society leaderboard and tournaments (with prizes!) as well as join our competitive squads, which compete in local and national chess competitions such as the London League, the BUCA Championship and the new PRO University Chess League.
