About

Effective altruism is an intellectual and social movement that applies evidence and reason to determine the most effective ways to improve the world. Influenced by the work of philosophers such as Peter Singer, Toby Ord, and William MacAskill, Effective Altruism is founded on the principles of doing the most good possible, using evidence and reason to find interventions into cause areas that are important, neglected, and tractable. A more in-depth FAQ about the movement is available here: https://whatiseffectivealtruism.com/We run a variety of activities, with the intention of helping you to do as much good as possible.
