Effective Altruism is a growing, global social movement that combines both the heart and the head: compassion guided by data and reason. We are the (brand new) UCL branch!The effective altruist community believes that when doing good, we should use evidence and reason to guide us. Effective altruists aim to consider all causes and actions, and then act in the way that brings about the greatest positive impact. At UCL, we want to explore the best ways to do good together through fascinating talks, career workshops, discussion groups and more.
