The Floorball Club is back in 2020/21 for another fantastic year of floorball and we want YOU to be a part of it!What Is Floorball?Floorball, a.k.a. Unihockey, Salibandy (Finland) or Innebandy (Sweden), is a growing sport in the UK and across the world. It is highly popular in Scandinavian, Eastern European and South-East Asian countries.A fast-paced sport played with an iconic holey plastic ball and light floorball sticks (similar to hockey or ice-hockey), floorball is played 5v5 with a goalie on each team on a hard court indoor surface.What Are The Prerequisites?Worried that you’ve never played floorball before? Think you’re too unfit to play sports? Fret not because we've always been beginner friendly; our lovely club is made up of a huge range of players and we welcome every single person to share our love for floorball! Floorball is a sport that can be picked up easily, so anyone can enjoy floorball, any time in the year. Equipment is provided so all you have to do is bring yourself down to our trainings and have fun! :-) Training Times (subject to change)Every Friday, 19:00 - 20:00 at Somerstown Community Sports Centre - Chalton St, NW1 1RX Please contact us on our socials for more information on training! *All trainings are mixed/ gender-neutral, and open to all members. Changing room facilities are available at both venues.CompetitionsWe are regularly play in the UK Universities League, which is a competitive league played amongst many universities, and so we are also welcoming experienced players to join us!
