RUMS Women’s football is, without a doubt, the most fun, friendly and generally lovely group of girls in the whole of UCL Medical School! We welcome everyone from pros to complete beginners, so even if you’ve never kicked a ball before don’t panic - a lot of our girls had never played football before coming to Uni. We don't hold trials. If you want to play football with us you can it's as simple as that. Our season runs from October to March, with LUSL matches on Sundays and BUCS games on Wednesdays. We run training on an all-weather pitch Monday nights, and we also train in Regent’s Park on Wednesdays and Sundays when we don't have matches.RUMS WFC is as much a social club as it is a sports club! We’re not hard to spot at Sports Night, every Wednesday in Mully's Bar – there are games, singing, fancy dress and we often head out afterwards too (or head to Maccy D’s if we’re feeling a bit worse for wear!). As well as our weekly gatherings for sports night we have various socials throughout the year including meals, movie nights and even zorb football. We go on two tours a year with the boy’s football team where we have some great nights out, and we even manage to squeeze in a bit of footie!Although this coming year looks different for most clubs and societies, we've got some great plans to get everyone involved and keep up the RUMS WFC spirit! We've already been delivering social and education events online throughout lockdown, and are prepared to deliver more in 2020/21.If you want to keep fit, play some brilliant football and make loads of great friends, RUMS WFC is the club to join!Make sure to check out our instagram (@rumswfc) and like our facebook page (RUMS WFC) to learn more about our club and keep up to date. This Club is Pride in Sport Accredited. UCL RUMS Women's Football Club have signed the Zero Tolerance to Sexual Harassment Pledge.
