UCL Ice Club is for hockey players and figure skaters of all abilities.We’re a friendly society where you can learn everything from the basics upwards with people at your level.Ice Hockey - UCL YetisA & B TeamOur A & B team train on Wednesdays at Streatham Ice Rink from 2:15-3:30pm. This session costs £10 (or included in Term memberships) and is suitable if you’ve played ice hockey before, or are a very experienced skater. All kit is provided, but please email us if you need skates. UCL Yetis A plays in Checking Division 2 South of BUIHA (British University Ice Hockey Association), Yetis B plays in Non-checking Division 1. If you're interested in playing, get in touch! Our B team are currently the Division 4 Nationals Champions after having won it in 2019! C TeamOur C team trains on Wednesdays at Streatham between 1:30-2:15 pm. This is suitable if you are new to ice hockey, not confident skating, or even if you have never skated before! Again, full kit is provided with a refundable deposit. Figure Skating - UCL FrostbiteUCL Frostbite figure skaters train at Queensway Ice Rink on Wednesdays at around 2pm; with groups split by skill; contact us if you want to join! We are proud to have both a figure and ice hockey team which annually to pull off Varsity each year! We are looking to give our figure skaters more ice time with better coaching so please do join us if you are an avid skater! Social Skates and Club SocialsOur Social Skates take place monthly on Mondays at Sobell Leisure centre 19:15 (£5.70 + £1.20 skate hire)Both figure skaters and hockey players come together for socials and sportsnights throughout the year!VarsityOur Ice Varsity is one of the most impressive displays of skill combined with a fantastic atmosphere. Battling it out against our bitter rivals, Imperial, is always a memorable evening and allows our best players at the club to show off in front of hundreds. Meet us!The welcome fair this year will be online and we will be present constantly to answer all your burning questions! Tune in at the end of September to learn more about us and to hear from a variety of members in our club. If you want to meet us before please do not hesitate to contact us on any of the methods mentioned below.As this year will be more difficult in terms of social interactions we are offering different levels of membership for people who will not be able to attend any of our sessions in person.
