Iranian Society

Imperial College Iranian Society is an organisation, independent from any specific political and religious beliefs, with the aim to explore the Iranian culture, traditions and important events in the Iranian Calendar with both Iranians and non-Iranians alike. For Iranians that are coming to Imperial from all over the world, we wish to create an atmosphere that resembles home; and for those wishing to learn about the Iranian culture, or even pick up bits of the language, this society will provide the environment and means to do so. Together, we will be celebrating Iranian cultural events (such as Yalda night and Nowrouz) have weekly gatherings to watch Iranian movies, play games or listen to poetry, and benefit from talks by notable speakers and scientists. This society is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow Iranians, so get the membership and turn up to events. We look forward to seeing you.
