King's College London (KCL)
navigation.about
KCL Marrow is a charitable student-led branch of the Anthony Nolan charity, committed to saving the lives of people with blood cancer.
As a volunteer organisation, we host events to recruit potential lifesavers to the Stem Cell register, offering hope to blood cancer patients in need of a stem cell transplant - often their last hope for survival! We also fundraise for the charity, ensuring that the charity has the resources to maintain the register and facilitate patient transplants.
As a volunteer, you will have the exciting prospect of working closely with both the KCL and National committee, allowing you to become an integral part of an organisation that saves three lives a day! We offer extensive opportunities for volunteers (and committee members, should you wish to take on more responsibility) to develop their leadership, communication, and teamwork skills - from being involved in large-scale campaign planning to championing patient appeals, you will be able to enhance your CV whilst feeling the satisfaction of contributing to the cure of someone's cancer.
Please reach out to our (incredibly friendly!) committee on our Facebook or Instagram, or email us if you have any questions or want to get stuck right in! Anthony Nolan is a registered charity - no. 803716
If you cannot volunteer, please consider donating to Anthony Nolan through our JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/kclmarrow2019 :)
