navigation.about
The King's Players is the leading theatre society of King's College London and for decades has been committed to creating high-quality student theatre.
We run a busy schedule of plays, weekly masterclasses, theatre trips, socials and drama festivals throughout the year. Our projects include work from a wide range of classical, modern and contemporary playwrights, and we actively encourage and create special opportunities for new writing from our members! As well as putting on at least four large-scale productions every year, we also fund new writing, and take part in the annual London Student Drama Festival and the internationally renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival! 2021/22 Committee:Co-Presidents: Lakshya Sharma and Tara ChoudharyTreasurer: An YokotaHeads of Production: Vedant DudrajHead of Development & Events: Aryn AzlanSocial Media Secretary: Sameera Mohammed 1st Semester Productions soon to be announced!
As part of the University of London we occasionally allow students from other London universities to take part in our productions. However, as we have a lot of interest from our own students and finite opportunities, this is up to each production team.
Auditions, socials and workshops will all be kicking off in the first week of term so keep an eye on our social media for updates: The King's Players @kclkingsplayers
