Law conversion society is designed to support non-law students in their progression into a legal career. It will inform them on different routes into law post a non-law degree including examinations and interview prep. It is an opportunity for students to start developing on their understanding of legal concepts to enhance their success in the future.
Weekly workshops : highly interactive sessions where you learn about different areas of law and key concepts, followed by PGDL questions. This knowledge will then be solidified by working on a specific case surrounding the legal concept.
Networking/Panel discussions : an opportunity to interact with trainee solicitors, PGDL students and associates.
Different paths into law : whether you want to be a solicitor or barrister, we will provide you with further information.
Interview and application preparation : learn tips and tricks on how to impress recruiters and law firms.
Transferable skills : develop public speaking skills and commercial awareness.
These skills will help you stand out from the crowd and feel more confident when applying for schemes and contracts.
