The Law Society has three aims. We aim to build a community, provide networking opportunities, and build our member's employability. The Law Society hopes to cohesively provide students in the social, academic, and career spheres alongside the School of Law's Student Engagement & Employability teams. We have committed to hosting socials approximately every two weeks, to build a strong community within our cohorts. Our socials for the year include bowling, board game cafes, and many other opportunities to meet the committee and fellow classmates! We also provide general support and information to aid our member's in pursuing a career in law. This includes guest speakers, training sessions, newsletters, and collaboration with organizations and law firms. Our flagship event is our Networking Dinner. This is a black-tie event with a three-course meal providing students a chance to dress up, socialize with classmates, and network with legal professionals. Barristers, solicitors, trainees, experienced lawyers, local firms, city firms, and other legal professionals will all be present for our members to network and gain insight from. Become a member now, and follow our Instagram and Facebook pages to stay informed with our activities!
