Welcome to the KCL Marxist Society! We provide a forum for all King's students to discuss the ideas of Marxism and how they can be used to fight for a better world.Throughout the academic year we will hold regular meetings; these will include talks on the fundamental ideas of Marxism, and discussion of current and historical events from a Marxist perspective. We will also hold reading groups of Marxist classics, so if there is any book you might be interested in, send us an email, pop over to our Facebook page, or just come along to one of our meetings and let us know in person!Our comrades also get involved in campaigns inside and outside KCL. Last year we stood in solidarity with the UCU strikes, and we will continue to stand with our GTAs against the increasing securitisation and marketisation of our university. Comrades also campaigned last year for a socialist Labour government, and more recently joined the thousands of others taking to the streets for BLM.The KCL Marxist society is free to join and invites students of all political persuasions to listen, learn and share ideas!
