We are a community dedicated to improving low mood and wellbeing, as well as creating a safe place to talk about mental health. We are passionate about opening up the conversation surrounding mental health, offering mutual support and defeating the stigma once and for all - whilst having a hell of a lot of fun! We hold regular tea & talks, movie nights and regular trips to events around London. Contact us and join our mailing list or follow us on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook (gremindsociety) to keep up to date! We also have a facebook group where you can interact with other members and keep up to date with what's going on.Photos: Canary Wharf Winter Lights trip, 2019 // Crystal Maze event with UoG Hockey Team, 2018Photos: Tea and Talk, 2019 // Little Miss Sunshine Theatre Trip, 2019By joining our events you are supporting us making mental health conversation a regular part of day to day life and joining the battle against the stigma. Our events are always open and you can join in as much or as little as you like. You're welcome to just come along for a few minutes or for the whole event. And if there's anything we can do to make you more comfortable just let us know!We appreciate coming to an event for the first time can be difficult, so please, if you're coming alone, don't know where to go or are feeling anxious about coming, reach out to us and we'll meet you beforehand and/or do anything else we can to support you. No one should miss out on Tea & Biscuits, no matter what might be holding you back! Be sure to join our Facebook group, like our Facebook Page and follow us on Twitter and Instagram where we keep everyone updated. You can join us at any point during the year so please to reach out and get in contact or just come along for one of our events, they're always open to all. We understand that getting involved with a student group can be nerve-wracking, whether you’re looking to make friends during your first few weeks at university, or try something new later in the year.Committee 2030/21President: Holly Hood Treasurer: Emma Dowley Website: Supportive Chat Room: https://www.elefriends.org.ukInfoline
