Newcastle Consulting Society, launched in 2023 at Newcastle University, aims at providing unique opportunities and experiences to its members. Through a variety of informative workshops, networking events, conferences and socials, NCS allows members to discover, deepen and encourage their interest in consulting. At NCS, we host a variety of events. We organise company presentations with external firms both international like BCG and national with SMEs and keep you informed about external webinars organised by our multiple partners happening over the year. Besides, we invite inspiring speakers to share with you their career journeys through interviews, discussion panels or even networking events. Finally, we also take part in collaborative events and inter-university competitions! Moreover, we aim to help you build your application and on-the-job skills by hosting CV, cover letter, and interview prep workshops, as well as digital skills seminars with our external partners. As you’ll soon discover, solving cases is crucial on your path to a consulting career, so we’ve launched regular case study workshops where you can connect with fellow members to practice and grant you free resources thanks to our multiple sponsors. Last but not least, we give you exclusive opportunities practical experience through client projects sourced by our partners allowing you to apply to projects ranging from start-ups to international companies with mentors from consultancies.
