Newcastle Mechanical Engineering Society

Newcastle University Mechanical Engineering Society (NUMES) provides a space for those who study or are interested in, mechanical engineering to socialise. We host both drinking and non-drinking socials every 2-3 weeks for people to get involved with! Socials we've held in the past include pub quizzes and private cinema nights amongst others. We also hold a Christmas and Summer ball each year which promises to be a chance to dress up, celebrate, and have fun! We often hold talks and networking events where engineering professionals come in to provide an insight into industry and give you tips and tricks. Advance notice of all socials and events will be posted on our social media and will also be emailed out to university emails.
