The UCL Nordic Society has been created for all those with an interest or a background in the Nordic region: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Greenland and Sápmi. We come together to experience Nordic culture. The society is a great community to meet new people and experience new cultures or feel more at home in London and UCL. We will be putting on a variety of different events so there is very likely to be something of interest to you! This year we will be holding online game evenings, a new film club, baking/cooking follow along events, we are hoping to hold some external speaker online events/lectures and of course, our beginners language classes in Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish, online language exchange lillefredag (online "pub evenings", which will be primarily for more advanced and native speakers of all the Nordic languages, and pub quizzes! We hope to see you there! With great disappointment, we have decided that we will not run any in person activity for term 1 but hope to be back in term 2.
