Oxford Geography

Welcome to the Oxford University Geography Society! Since the signing of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in 2015, Geography has become an ever-important discipline that can help direct progress towards those goals. Geography’s strength lies in its holistic approach to a vibrant range of contemporary issues, from climate change and conservation to urban poverty and migration. OUGS is a space for everyone to critically reflect on meaningful ways to utilise geography in everyday thought and practice, as well as connect with like-minded students. In line with this, we are also working hard to increase access, diversity and decolonisation operations for the subject both within and outside of Oxford.
