Poetry Society

Poetry is an ancient art form, with incredible variety and breadth. We are keen to welcome all those who care about this art and its literature, as well as those eager to discover! Being a new society, we have yet to establish a standard set of activities for members; however, our main intention is simply to be a place where members can freely share and discuss poetry, and we hope to make the society a vibrant community! Regular events will be held throughout the year, and we will have a group on Microsoft Teams for activities online; it was actually here that the society really started, and it’s a good place to share poems. We’ll also have various focuses on which to base new activities, such as writing poetry, exploring the literature, learning about the history of the art, and understanding the present world of poetry.
