This is the official page of the City, University of London Students'â Union, Pro Bono Society.
Founded in 2016 by Martin Wilson & Ricky Emery, law students at City University, it has gone from strength to strength since its inaugural year.
The society's primary objective was to open the first undergraduate legal clinic at City University allowing students to combine their academic learning with practical experience. We have since grown to provide Internal and external opportunities to our members as well as host numerous social events to allow our members to network and socialise. We aim to hold monthly events that enhance our members legal knowledge and skills and provide them with exclusive volunteering opportunities in our very own City Community Legal Advice Centre as well as the many clinics we have formed partnerships with.
Our current 2023/2024 committee is Nouh El-Ouaz (President), Lorisa Ibrahimi (Communications Officer), Andrei Dohotaru (Finance Officer), Abdifatah Mahamed (Relations Director), and Rochelle Inbakumar (Editor-In-Chief of the Pro Bono Gazette)
