Racing Green

Imperial Racing Green is Imperial College's Formula Student team. Formula Student is an international event in which engineering students from the world''s top technical universities' compete in the design and manufacture of an open-wheel single-seater racing car. This year we are looking to finish the design and production of EV4, our fourth-generation battery-electric racing car, which came joint 4th in the 2018 Class 2 design competition. The club principally consists of third and fourth year Mechanical Engineering students who build the car as part of their major projects, however, the club is open to anyone with an enthusiasm for engineering and formula racing. There are also plenty of opportunities for first and second years to get involved with the manufacture of components, fundraising, administration and even having a drive!
