About

RAG Helping support charities locally and nationally Brunel RAG is responsible for all charity work in the Union of Brunel Students. Our aim is to offer every single student the chance to raise money & have fun doing so, all in the name of charity. We work with sports clubs, societies, and individual students to deliver engaging, exciting & innovative fundraising activities. We have events both big and small, such as face painting or climbing Kilimanjaro! We have even cycled to Paris and travelled to Nepal to help rebuild a playground as a part of the #TaughtNotTrafficked scheme. Equally we hold socials and have stalls out twice a month Covid-19 Volunteering  We have teamed up with Brunel Volunteers to provide relief efforts for  the Covid-19 pandemic. If you are interested in volunteering for charities or hospitals dealing with the pandemic then please email us at ragsocietybrunel@gmail.com for more infomation     We also Support other Societies with their charity fundraising offering both advice and equipment to use. Please get in touch if you need assistance planning a charity event.  What You can gain from joining Brunel RAG ?  If you volunteer a certain amount of hours you will get a certificate and a award. Joining and helping RAG is an excellent way to boost your CV. It also gives you a wonderful place to forge new skills and meet people you wouldn't of met before. Joining RAG is a great way to spend some of your free time at Brunel University.    Our Selected Charities 2020/2021The application process to be one of our selected charities for 2021/2022 opens on the 1st of June. In August we will decide who will be our selected charities 2021/2022. Please note we only choose 4 per year.
