We are the Raise And Give (RAG) Society and we bring you the biggest and best ways to fundraise for great charities. Throughout the year, we run awesome events including JAILBREAK, THE THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE and the LONDON TO PARIS CYCLE RACE. If you like the sound of having fun whilst raising money, join us at RAG and make sure your time at university is filled with unforgettable experiences!Due to the Covid-pandemic we will be running all our fundraising and other events online in term 1. Join us for pub quizzes and workshops over Zoom and then in person as soon as it is safe again. We’ll be doing a classic “Où est le poulet?”, pub quizzes and of course the much loved  “So you think you can date?” (Please sign up your single friends. Next best thing to Love Island).Hopefully, if safe, we will end the week with LOST.LOST Want to escape from uni for a day? Prepare for a trip abroad with Jailbreak? Then get LOST! LOST is what we call "reverse Jailbreak" - we take you to a mysterious location on a blacked-out coach, drop you off 200 miles from uni, and you have to race your way back to UCL without spending a penny.JAILBREAKPreviously voted the best event in the Union, Jailbreak is not to be missed! In just 36 hours, participants must travel as far away from UCL as possible without spending a single penny. How far will you go? Last year our winning team made it all the way to Hong Kong! Jailbreak will take place in June 2021 so keep an eye out for announcements!THREE PEAKSThis year we are supporting Hope for Children for the seventh year in a row, by sending a team of students to climb the UK’s three highest peaks! While not being sent quite as far away from home as other treks, you have the opportunity to climb Scafell Pike, Snowden and Ben Nevis! An endurance challenge with a lower fundraising target. Excellent for if you're not as confident with a large student fundraising commitment.LONDON TO PARIS CYCLEFor the first time, RAG will be taking part in the London to Paris Cycle. Also supporting Hope for Children, you’ll be cycling 300km in 3 days! The route will take across the Channel, through sleepy villages and ending at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
