After making an emphatic return to play in last years varsity winning 49-7 UCL Mens Rugby is looking to carry that momentum into this season to build a bigger and more social club that caters for all. This year we will be running multiple teams allowing us to cater to players of all levels and we firmly encourage you to come along even if you've never played before. We will be running welcome sessions in the last week of September for anyone to come along, meet some new people and play some informal touch. Following this we will run trials on Wednesday 6th October before launching straight into BUCS on the 13th October. BUCS matches will take place on Wednesday afternoons, with home games at Shenley and away games in and around the South East.We strive to be an active social society both virtually and in person. On top of this, Men’s Rugby also offers the opportunity for involvement in the wider UCL community; whether it’s partaking in fundraising events for charities like Movember and Oddballs, or engaging with campus-wide initiatives, there are always opportunities to represent the club off the pitch. We encourage anyone of any ability and background to get involved; regardless of previous playing standards, UCL Men’s rugby offers opportunities to meet new people, both on and off the pitch, and develop both you and your rugby.
