Imperial College Women's Rugby welcomes all abilities so come and give rugby a go! \ We are definitely the friendliest club at Imperial and we look forward to meeting you! Rugby is easy to pick up and play without any previous experience. In fact, most of the squad had never played before coming to Imperial! We're a famously sociable bunch, enjoying the best of what the Union and Reynolds (medics' Union) has to offer! Camaraderie extends further than the bar though, and we frequently enjoy other activities such as going for dinner, karaoke nights, watching rugby, bowling and many many more! We also love to tour and usually put on 3 very affordable tours every year (some as cheap as £20 for the whole weekend!). Past tours include Southampton, Cardiff, Seville and Vienna. Matches are played on Wednesday afternoons, with training on Thursday evenings. Matches start later in the season which gives players new to rugby a chance to get a handle on the game, as well as giving us time to get to know each other and gel as a team. We're a friendly, diverse crowd so whether you're looking to try a new, engaging sport with a great group of people or if you're a more experienced player, ICUWRFC is the place for you!
