Sex and Relationships Society

Hi! Welcome to the Sex and Relationships Society page. This society was founded with the intention to create a safe space for everyone to discuss and learn about sex and relationships. Our main goal is to create resources such as newsletters, that will always be available for access whether or not it is a recent topic for discussion. In this way, we hope to make sex and relationship education far-reaching and accessible for all. We also endeavor to collaborate with the LGBTQ+ Society, various officers, and the Verve creators to ensure we are being inclusive. As well as hosting fun meetings and parties for everyone to relax, have casual conversations, and get to know one another. My name's Lo, I study Sociology here at London Met, and this society is something I have considered for a long while. SRE (Sex and Relationship Education) is lacking in most educational establishments, as well as being heteronormative and embedded in a monogamous culture that creates a strict learning curriculum, In this society, I aim to challenge that. and cover things as 'basic' as anatomy, through to concepts such as relationship dynamics, the history of marriage, and many 'taboo' topics such as BDSM, Kink, and sex toys.
