¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to the Spanish Society.
The Spanish society is a close-knit network of students who enjoy living Spanish culture along the lines of its founding values; familiarity, solidarity and determined optimism. In order to achieve this we have organised a variety of engaging activities and events, these are currently separated in two groups: telematic activities and face-to-face events.
Telematic activities range from a Q & A to help newcomers find their feet in this strange new year to a lesson in Spanish street jargon, through many more.
Face-to-face events are largely comprised by social gatherings such as reggaeton club outings, tapas nights and an intra-societal football tournament; we would like to stress that these activities involving large gatherings will constantly be under revision, subject to the venues involved offering appropriate health & safety measures.
Finally, bridging the two categories is a societal Mom & Dad scheme aimed at making new coming Freshers feel fully supported in these trying times.
We hope this brief breakdown has convinced you to become the newest member of the Spanish Society and further enjoy your university experience. ¡Thank you and Viva España!
