Student Action for Refugees Society

UCL STAR is a part of national network of student groups working to improve the lives of refugees in the UK.We recognise that refugees and asylum-seekers are a vulnerable group of people that often have a long and difficult struggle to secure their safety in another country.As part of the new generation, we should use our time, energy and enthusiasm to support them as equal members of our society. We offer our members a variety of opportunities to be engaged - whether through participating in meaningful volunteering projects, campaigns, fundraising, expert panel events, or simply receiving our newsletter, it’s all here, it’s fun and it’s yours for the taking.Have a look at our UCL STAR News webpage.
