Hey! We’re ICSWP, Imperial College’s Swimming and Waterpolo club.
We train at Ethos, Imperial’s pool on the South Kensington campus. We have 4 Swimming, 3 Waterpolo, and 3 land training sessions per week. All sessions in the pool are led by our professional coaches – who have won back to back Imperial Coach of the Year awards! Our members range from beginners to athletes competing internationally; provided you’re confident swimming unaided, we've something for you! With more training, friendly members, and social events than you could ever need, ICSWP is sure to be the club for you!
If you're looking to improve your technique, we can help you to learn a new stroke or perfect your shot. You can try your hand at both swimming and water polo; everyone can participate in friendly competitions against rivals from local universities.
If you want to compete with the best, we compete alongside Olympians such as Adam Peaty at BUCS – the national championships for students. Our Men's and Women's Water Polo teams both compete in the Southern Premiership Division – the highest level of British university Waterpolo. We compete in local leagues too – we have two mixed teams in the London Waterpolo league, great for improving your skills. Team swimming galas have an amazing atmosphere – you won’t want to miss out!!Join our FB group to keep up to date on events:https://www.facebook.com/groups/icswp/Or email swimming@imperial.ac.uk if you have any more questions!
