The 93% Club

University Of West London (UWL)

The 93% Club is a national social mobility initiative dedicated to improving the university experience of students from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. Students from state schools, or who are otherwise socio-economically disadvantaged, often lack the social, human or cultural skills than those of their peers. This difference is particularly noticeable in the areas that make for interesting subjects of conversation in interviews. These students often do not have the same access to strong alumni networks that are available to their privately educated peers, which can be a huge disadvantage when it comes to getting their foot in the door of large companies. The 93% Club was founded to provide opportunities to disadvantaged students at UWL- these opportunities include interview training workshops to grow confidence, building professional networks with top graduate employers and hosting social events. Instagram - @93clubuwlWebsite - www.93percent.clubFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/The-93-Club-UWL-105722437993471/ COMMITTEE POSITIONS AVAILABLECHAIRPERSON - click hereThis role is new and includes elements of the President and Vice-Presidents roles.
