navigation.about
ThinkMental is KCL's mental health society. We work to improve the mental health of KCL students, through our values of communication and community, by:1. Creating spaces where students can discuss mental health issues openly and safely,2. Campaigning for mental health issues, on campus, locally and nationally,3. Educating and raising awareness of current mental health issuesOur regular events include Tea and Talk, a relaxed, informal space where students can meet and talk about what's important to them or those they know, over a cup of tea. We also run Student Stories, a themed discussion series based around the experiences of King's students. We run a number of campus-wide events, collaborating with other student societies and the Student's Union, especially for World Mental Health Day in October and University Mental Health Day in March. Our committee is made up of students of all ages, backgrounds, and subject areas, so whether you've got a personal connection to mental health issues or just want to make a positive impact in your community, we're always open to enthusiastic, like-minded people.Have a look at what we've been up to in 2019-20 and get your free membership now!
