King's College London (KCL)
navigation.about
The KCL United Nations Association is founded on the principles of community, diplomacy and the plurality of ideas, and is a vehicle for those interested in the United Nations, diplomacy and international affairs.
Through our weekly training sessions, our members are able to develop skills in negotiation, public speaking and crisis management before putting these skills into practice at Model UN conferences across the UK and further afield. This year trips to Oxford (OxIMUN), Cambridge (CUIMUN), Nottingham (NottsMUN) and Tokyo (Harvard WorldMUN) are all on our plans, as well as Europe's largest Model UN conference - London International MUN (LIMUN) - held right here in London.
In addition, we now organise two of our own conferences - ULMUN for beginner and less-experienced university students, and ThamesMUN for underprivileged state school students across London - which offers you the opportunity to play a leading role in our activities and to give back to the local community. Plus, we also organise an array of varied and exciting academic and social events.
From embassy visits and career events to day trips and nights out, we strive to build a community in which everyone feels welcome and has the opportunity to find something that suits them!
Please be aware that some of our events and activities may be held hybrid or online this year, and that our in-person events will be held in a safe way and in line with UK Government, King's and KCLSU guidelines. To check out our upcoming events and activities, please head to our website, sign up to our mailing list or follow us on Facebook and Instagram!
