Vegetarian & Vegan Society

Our society brings together like-minded people interested in vegetarian and vegan food. We meet up regularly for food socials all over London to discover some great spots and have some fun meeting new people. We go every year to an animal sanctuary which makes for a lovely outing bonding with others and meeting some adorable animals too! At socials we also go for drinks sometimes, share recipes, and discover the best places to eat and buy veggie and vegan food in London. For those interested in learning a bit more about the ethical, ecological and nutritional aspects of a meat-free and animal product-free lifestyle, we also hold talks and stalls, screen documentaries and direct our members to interesting and useful resources. In this way, we focus on supporting those reducing their meat intake or transitioning to an animal product-free diet. We love to hold events with other societies as well, may these be fashion-related or environment-based. In addition, if you are interested in campaigning and volunteering, or fund-raising for related-causes, such as animal welfare and green policies, please get in touch - we are always happy to support related causes!
