Imperial College London (ICL)
navigation.about
We are the IC Women in Science, Engineering and Technology society- we aim to support female-identifying and non-binary students both academically and socially!
We aim to help you mingle with women across departments, both undergrads and postgrads.
Furthermore, we partner with global companies to bring you CV workshops, interview and internship advice, company insights etc. and help you grow your network. Our annual events include: 1) the Annual Industry Event, where we invite our partners to tell you more about their work, and offer a large networking platform 2) the Annual Women in STEM symposium, where we invite researchers within and outside Imperial to share their experiences in academia 3) (new 2020/21!)
Imperial Hack-Her-thon, a hackathon that aims to provide a safe space for you to pick up coding and challenge yourself in 24 hrs (and of course many more events too!)Another important goal of our society is to raise awareness about SET opportunities among girls at High School.
Therefore we organise Open Days provide insight into different SET areas, and what Imperial student life is like - a great opportunity to volunteer with us! So, join us (for free!) to be a part of Imperial’s largest community of women and help shape yours, and the younger generation’s, careers.
