Women & Politics Society

We are a group of students who want to promote and enhance women's influence and leadership in politics on both a local and global level. Our goal is to encourage young women to participate in politics and engage in advocacy to make gender equality measures central in politics and the wider public. We believe that the truly global community needs to utilize the potential of half of its population and that women's rights are central to the development of every dimension of human life in the 21st century. To achieve our aims we want to organize conferences, discussion panels, movie screenings, and meetings with women actively involved in regional or global politics. Women & Politics Society is open to all King’s College London students.
