Sounds great, what will I be doing?</b></h2>
<p>
As our <b>Senior Legal Counsel,</b> you'll focus on corporate legal matters but take on a variety of other work such as employment, compliance, marketing, and risk. You will report directly to our General Counsel and line manage a team of two. You will be responsible for overseeing the administration of our share schemes, managing our group entities, assisting with funding rounds and supporting with M&amp;A (as and when needed). You'll also be supporting our People team on employment-related matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, policies and legal compliance. In addition, you will handle risk and compliance matters such as anti-bribery, sanctions and modern slavery, as well managing enterprise risk and supporting our ESG initiatives.</p><br>

What do I need to bring with me?</b></h2>

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires. You don't have to tick <i>all</i> the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. Here's what the team will be looking for:</p>

 Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate in the UK. Ideally with at least 3 years PQE but we will consider all levels.</div>
<div> Previous experience working within an in-house legal team or corporate department of a law firm.</div>
<div> Drafting skills - you'll be drafting and reviewing a variety of corporate documents such as share buyback agreements, subscription agreements, option agreements, board minutes, shareholder resolutions, articles of association, shareholders agreements and equity-related documents.</div>
<div> Knowledge of corporate matters, including M&amp;A - you'll be supporting on M&amp;A transactions, funding rounds and other corporate transactions.</div>
