 The ICAO team is managing the interface between IATA and ICAO and as such conveys IATA’s position to the different ICAO bodies such as the ICAO Council, the Air Navigation Commission and its Technical Panels, Air Transport Panels, Secretariat study Groups, Divisional Meetings and Conferences.

 Contribute for the formulation of IATA’s positions towards specific working bodies of ICAO, such as Panels of the Air Navigation Commission and Air Transport Committee, Secretariat study Groups, Divisional Meetings and Conferences to provide IATA input on the development of new aviation standards; Coordinate and jointly plan the participation of IATA staff from other Divisions in such ICAO working bodies to ensure that IATA inputs are coordinated and aligned with member airlines identified priorities; Provide support to IATA staff as well as Airline SME’s involved in ICAO meetings to ensure they have the means required for effective contribution; Participate directly on the work of ICAO bodies to which he/she is assigned to convey the IATA positions; Investigate technical matters and assist in the development of IATA’s positions Consolidate IATA’s positions internally by interacting with the concerned Divisions; Support sharing awareness of ICAO provisions in the regions.
