  • Support the development of appropriate training programs
  • Help to identify other data driven programs, that are of core benefit to our IATA members
  • Provide flight technical expertise to support our central and regional team’s requirements
  • Assist the Head Flight Operations, in ensuring the efficient running of the technical operations area
  • Provide the technical flight operations expertise as required to ensure that our members needs are represented in terms of sustainability initiatives
  • Help coordinate our advocacy and collaboration with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), International Coordination Council of Aerospace Industry Associations (ICCAIA), Boeing, Airbus and others in relation to this technical operations area
  • Identify and support the Director of Flight & Technical Operations to drive new initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability, as well as to help identify commercial opportunities of value to our members and IATA
