This individual will interact and serve as the first line of contact with our internal team and Agents on behalf of the executives. This individual must effectively work with senior executives and administrative assistants, team members within the department, with employees throughout New York Life, as well as with external business partners/contacts.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The ideal candidate must have a proactive and learning mindset, excellent organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, be flexible and agile as priorities change, work effectively with other administrative assistants across the company, and be able to handle confidential information with tact and professionalism. The ideal candidate will possess strong judgement and decision-making skills that impact the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the executive and their team’s day-to-day work. In addition, the individual must possess the demonstrated ability to provide solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on practice and existing precedents or procedures.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What You'll Do&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Manage calendar, travel and expenses for the two executives, assist with day-to-day operations.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Handle heavy meeting scheduling, including coordinating with other executive assistants.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Prioritize phone, mail and e-mail messages.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Provide basic tech support and troubleshoot IT issues when necessary.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Assist with departmental event planning.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What You'll Bring&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;5+ years of Executive Assistant experience.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Excellent organization skills; exceptional attention to detail and follow-up.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ability to multi-task and set priorities; flexibility in a fast-paced environment.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Proactive and client centric.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;A positive attitude and professional demeanor.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;A willingness to work overtime, as necessary.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Zoom experience is preferred.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Pay Transparency&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Overtime eligible: Nonexempt&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Sales bonus eligible: No&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
