The post holder will work alongside a multidisciplinary team whilst they train to be a Radiographer. The apprenticeship will run in conjunction with the Keele University and will require the post holder to study alongside working clinically in the department. As part of the role there will be an expectation to work alongside qualified Radiographers supporting flow of patient pathways, liaising with the wider MDT and supporting Imaging Department Assistants. The successful applicant must undertake any formal or informal study and training required to fulfil the needs of the post. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship the post holder will gain a BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging and will be eligible to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Diagnostic Radiographer. You will gain extensive workplace learning and practice in Imaging, supported by academic learning within the chosen university. Programme fees will be supported by the trust.
