  • An exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Nurse position has become available within Ward 108, Upper and Lower GI Surgery.
  • Providing High standard of care for patients, covering a 24 hour period. Mentoring & preceptorship will be provided within the role. Ward 108 is a busy 27 bedded ward, caring for Upper and Lower Gastrointestinal surgical patients. You will be supporting the Band 7 & senior team in ensuring a high standard of care is provided to all patients.
  • The ward is an excellent area to work within to gain many surgical nursing skills and knowledge of Upper and Lower GI surgeries. You will also have access to other specialist Nurses who will support your learning within the areas of Stoma Care, Tissue Viability, Nutrition and Dietetics. These nurses visit the ward regularly and support the care of our patients providing them with physical and emotional care.
