If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should come along to Professor Sir Stephen O'Rahilly's talk at 6pm, Thursday 2nd May, held in the Nihon room of Pembroke College.
Professor Sir Stephen O'Rahilly is a Professor of Clinical Biochemistry and Medicine at the Cambridge Clinical school of Medicine and a fellow of Pembroke College. Due to his enormous contributions to the fields of endocrinology and metabolism, with notable works into type 2 diabetes and the function of leptin, Professor O'Rahilly has earned a large number of awards and leads some of the world's largest research instituitions including the NIHR Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre and the Wellcome-MRC Institute of Metabolic science.
This talk is a great way to learn some extra knowledge about metabolic disorders and hormones and how it links to the development and behaviour of peoples - a great way to learn more about how body systems are integrated and understand more about how the human body works!
