START YOUR JOURNEY VIRTUAL WORK INSIGHTS

After the success of our virtual work experience in Summer 2022, we’re excited to expand our offering of meaningful work insights to over 2000 students, through our interactive, virtual classrooms in 2023.

WHAT WILL I GAIN?

In short, a lot! Each day will have a jam-packed agenda, including breakout rooms and presentations–with regular breaks. We’ll help you master your self-management, develop job application and interview techniques, discover your personal brand, and more! You’ll also get to know other attendees and start to build relationships and networks.

Join us on your laptop or mobile phone from the comfort of your own home throughout the summer months.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

This 2-day virtual event will give you the skills you need to start your career and transition into the workplace. You’ll gain confidence in communication and collaboration through working with others on interactive case studies, solving business issues and improving ways of working.

ELIGIBILITY:

These events are open to all UK university students, from any degree discipline (we don’t expect any prior knowledge of technology, banking or finance).

  • Holiday allowance

    We offer a generous holiday allowance to enable you achieve a healthy work/life balance. You’ll be eligible for a minimum of 22 days holiday, rising to 30 days based on length of service and grade. Bank holidays are in addition to this, and you’ll have the opportunity to buy or sell the equivalent of a week’s holiday through our ‘Flex’ scheme.

  • Family leave

    From day one you’ll be able to have up to 63 weeks of maternity or adoption leave. Statutory maternity or adoption pay is available for 39 weeks and 20 weeks will be enhanced to the equivalent of full pay. Partners can have six weeks of fully paid paternity leave. Shared parental leave is created when maternity or adoption leave is ended early. If you are an eligible partner you could receive up to 20 weeks of fully paid leave.
