Responsibilities

  • Working as part of CA-CIB’s Global Investment Banking division, the intern should contribute to the origination and execution of M&A transactions within the relevant sectors, including:
  • Assistance in preparation of marketing pitches in full co-ordination with the rest of the GIB team, Sector Coverage, and ERA product teams
  • Assistance in the execution of mandates (buy side or sell side): process organisation, assistance in financial analysis and presentation materials, creation of transaction support documents;
  • Review in-house training materials to get up to speed on valuations and other M&A skills;
  • Seek and receive guidance from other M&A bankers on technical aspects;
  • Attend team meetings and participate in the day-to-day life of the department.
