Requirements

  • Recent graduate (within 12 months) of a BA degree or MA degree
  • The ideal candidate should have previous cosmetic/beauty marketing experiences (not mandatory) within a group or an Agency
  • Legally authorized to work in the US on a fulltime, permanent, and ongoing basis without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent written, analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Social Listening and Competitive Research:
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest products, trends, and insights across platforms (social media, blog, print/digital magazines)
  • Continuously compile information about competitive new launches, advertising, and formulas.
  • Present competitive findings to team and/or brand managers.
  • Product Ideation and Development:
  • Propose formula, shade and package need gaps based on analysis of competitive landscape and trends that align with the brand identity.
  • Assist Manager on new product formulations, including liaising with lab on formula and shade submissions.
  • Engage Vendors on product samples, tracking of submissions and initial product evaluation.
  • Execute (arm) swatches on new product launches including light, medium and deep skin tones.
  • Work with PD managers to execute floor tests, community tests, etc., including working with labs on test samples, generating questionnaire, distributing of samples, time tracking and summarizing test findings.
  • Support PD Manager onsite at R&I: shade matching, engagement with Advanced Engineering Packaging.
  • Lead and track product samples for US Sales meetings, Dossier, Ecomm.
  • Assist in summarizing trade show key findings, photos, trends, etc.
  • Administrative support:
  • Lead and manage vendor packages including opening vendor packages/boxes, sorting and tracking samples, logging information into excel tracking sheet and distributing packages to appropriate PD team members.
  • Assist Manager in vendor communication of sample requests.
  • Manage product closet including product resourcing and updating bins with new launches.
  • Assist PD Managers on taking minutes during monthly R&I meetings.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects specific to business/division needs
