  • As a Financial Analyst with Personal & Commercial Banking (P&CB) Performance Management you will work directly with the Credit Cards and Loyalty Finance teams on financial reports and ad-hoc analysis on business activities through the use of Excel, PowerPoint and other database tools. These initiatives will provide value-added insights, and help driving efficiencies and profitability for our business teams.
  • You will also work with our partners to learn about financial services industry, RBC’s Loyalty and Rewards business, and how to incorporate business strategy with financial analysis to provide financial advisory support. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an analytical mindset, and a willingness to learn about the RBC’s Retail Banking business.

  • Working towards a business-related university degree.

  • Work independently and provide support to Loyalty & Rewards performance management team, including but not limited to analyses on business drivers, product profitability, monthly and quarterly reporting process, and ad-hoc requests from business partners
  • Understand, dissect and analyze credit card products profitability. Improve product reports by incorporating business understanding and financial insights
  • Understand and learn the basics of Loyalty & Rewards product economics and accounting treatments in order to provide in-depth analysis on various business performance drivers; monitor and track detailed product level performance drivers on a monthly basis
